Single player is crap, Don't bother. Play 64 player conquest large, because that is how battlefield is supposed to be played.

So the greatly anticipated Battlefield 3 has been released. I haven't gotten a chance to play it yet because of my metric $#@!ton of school work, but I can't wait. For those of you who HAVE played it, whether that be the console or PC version, what is your reaction? Is it above your expectations? Below? Do you feel it was over-hyped? Did you enjoy the singleplayer campaign? As stated in the title, this thread is a discussion about everything BF3, so lay it down.

Personally, I'm loving the game. You have to look hard to find a good server sometimes, but once you do, stick with it.
The gameplay flows amazingly well online. Single player seems linear, but thats not why I got this game
Vehicles play well, so many attatchments. Battlelog is getting the kinks worked out (along with the game) so in time, the game will be pretty damn good!
Its already fun as hell, amazing times have happened already
Question: Will there be an FFN Battlefield 3 server? I recall reading discussion about getting one, but there was no definitive answer.
To expensive. Its like 90 dollars a month, with no good way to attract a community.
Game is very good oonce you get in and playing. Best part is teamwork is a major player

Yeah like Engine said. 64 Conquest is awesome. I just hate how hard it is to find a server sometimes. You search for a few minutes to find a good one. Sometimes it doesn't display ping in the search results so you join the server and lag like crazy. Sometimes there's issues trying to get parties in the same game in the same squad.
There's no voice in game so you have to talk in party chat or get a VOIP program.
It would be awesome for FFN to get a BF3 server.

Yes. You can choose locations in West, Central, or Eastern USA. They also have Germany, Sweden, France, Russia, and others.
Game is awesome, with a few exceptions.
Not many servers.
HATE THE BROWSER SERVER $#@!

Last but not least, some vehicles can be very easily taken down, I.E Helicopter, specially if you havent unlocked the flares, which by the way, should be a given.
Single player isn't really that bad. The quick time events are stupid as $#@!, but other than that, the single player was fun. Especially for a game that is based on multiplayer. I'll play through it again the next time my IP decides that I don't need internet for 16 straight hours.
As for multiplayer, is it odd that I'd rather play Deathmatch instead of Conquest?
