Tach is just being a troll. No, it didn't brink. And EA is supposed to care. Quality control of the servers is the entire reason why we aren't allowed to put up home servers. If this is their definition of quality control just let us put up our own goddamn server instead of having to deal with assholes like this.
I never quite understood why game dev's think that controlling everything on their end is such a good idea... the only thing they're getting is more money and a bad rep (but when you're as big as EA... that never really matters)
Seriously, if I ever get to making games with multiplayer aspects... let people have home servers, but require some sort of file so it can keep track of the server so nothing fishy is going on (like... BF3, make sure servers arn't boosting/increasing point gains..)

IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE.
Nfoservers is a great provider but they are more expensive also. I think there is 2 ways you can do it with them get a gameserver for 95 a month or you can get the amount of cored vds you think you will need and use a managed server that you can drop and swap any gameserver into it. So if you think 3 processors will be enough for 64 players without lag you can get a 3 core vds for 75 a month. This is just a suggestion you can use whatever provider you wantI wanted to add you can upgrade or downgrade a vds also at any time with them.
