- The new server list is terrible. I liked to be able to just hover over a server info, to see who was on there, it was fast AND simple. Now you need to click to see, and then to see another server you have to close the other servers box so its not 2 miles down the page.
- The Facebook app. Does it really need to be there, does it really need to be so BIG, can we not just use a simple LIKE button and perhaps put the old server stats back there?
- Gaming Reviews. Can they not get their own tab like everything else, so the main forum posts are not shoved so far down.
- Blog Posts. Can they not get their own tab also?
- Forum post list. The text just seems way too small, you said it is the same, but it doesn't look the same, maybe it's because it seems squished in there by all the stuff on top, and the big square ad next to it.
- Forum post list. The ability to go to certain pages are gone, you are instantly taken to the last post no mater what.
- Popular Threads. Wouldn't it not make more sense if you are having them at all, to have them up at the top where the gaming reviews currently are?
- Advert. As riveted as I am at the prospect of owning Dan Jones "The Definitive Guide To; Monitoring the Data Center, Virtual Environments and the Cloud", do I need to see the same ad, EVERY time?
- Advert. Can we remove it for Donators, we already donate, why do we need to see ugly ads.
- No Source Bans link anymore.
- No Players Stats link anymore.
- No Admin List link anymore.
- No Donator link anymore.
- The entire site just doesn't match the forum at all.

I am going to have to agree with colax. Especially with the server status/player listing. The page itself as it stands feels like a foreign invader to the body of the network. I know its a beta and thats how things get tuned...but you will also need the feedback to tune it.
Yesterday when I logged on and saw the page, I was like WTF, is this a spam page? It just seemed like a cookie cutter spam site with the big facebook app and such, I didn't look twice and close the window. When I reopened it, I saw it was the New FFN homepage. That was my first reaction...I am sure I am not the only one who had that reaction.
You also have plenty of dead space on the bottom right of the page (next to recent topics) Underneath the ad, you could place the facebook and blogs app.
Just as an example, this site is a friend of mine in Austrailia. His main xbox1 site was for modding, this (360) one he wanted to have more of a portal effect for gaming in and of itself with a bit of modding. I am not saying duplicate his, but he went through some trial and error to figure out a good layout for the site. 360-HQ.COM See how he has a lot of stuff to the right (his site is a bit overloaded)...mainly small things...like Funks reviews could go on the right...and popular topics. the new page feels weighted to the left side, not really a balance on anything.
I just provided that so you can kinda get a feel for whats out there. I like you are trying to redefine your brand image (especially with all the new people and BF3 coming out) but you have a good start on what could be something great.
Also, not a big fan of the Apture Highlights add on.
