We finally have it!

Mesmer.


It's been called for a long time now, but we finally have the first solid proof that it is. I am unaware of where it was leaked but a video popped up on Gamereactor.

Weapons usable are the following (From what was seen): 1-h sword, torches, greatswords, daggers, staves and possibly guns.

The class itself looks like support and control (especially zoning). This is going to create alot of really fun situations and I look forward to seeing this fight in PvP..

Expert Mesmers are going to DESTROY everyone if they can play the mind/meta game correctly.

Waiting for confirmation from Anet about this, but i'm sure they'll say something soon.

Looks like someone's in trouble for this one... but maybe not that much.
