lol. then he should be the allies. that requires less teamwork.
axis has to help covering each other when planting the bomb. sometimes it feels so good when you see all three side being planted on the same timing.

I'm 110% against RTV. The main problem is if ONE person hates the map choice they will automatically start an RTV no matter what. Whether or not it gets enough nominations doesn't really matter. It gets annoying to see RTV all of the place in the text chat. Allowing the server access to RTV might make the server a 24/7 Jagd/Anzio/Avalanche (usually the most popular maps) server and that is just not fun. If anything I'd like more map diversity and less choices on screen. Maybe only show 4 choices and better rotation so the same map isn't played within a 2 hour time frame. I actually feel like were due for some new maps to get rotated in. I'm missing my Lennon!

We'll likely not put an rtv on our servers as changing the map at any time other than round end tends to completely break the rotation.

Actually, Special that's not a bad idea. Cut down the map choices to just a few.

i tried to get them to do this along time ago on the server along with a proposed votekick/voteban (temp ban) and they shot me down so good luck

I like the changing the map options to 6,7,8,9 idea. Most of the time I vote for a map by switching to pistol or switching class.

you guys should not make "1" a choice cause people just spam 1 in the middle of the a shootout. so they press 1 and it doesnt work, they have to look at the menu and choose.

i saw another server doin that, i think it's pretty smart.

Awesome! Someone has finally agreed with the idea of changing the numbers. I think I've chosen a map countless times switching weapons, or just hitting 1 while immersed in game play. Not that this won't change people from hitting the first number they see, but maybe 1 can stay and be a null vote, i.e. "I don't care..." selection, and exclude their votes. Sometimes people vote just because it's there, or they want the selection off their screen and they could care less what map comes next.

Just some suggestions for better map selection. I do think our current map rotation is good at the moment however.

High quality. . . fun maps are the key. Have only ROCKIN maps in the rotation. . . nobody will even think about RTV. I agree with SpecialK. . . maybe one or two less choices would be better. Been years since I played "Lennon". . . and that is NOT one of the maps I'm talkin about. . .
