The parents of 13-year old Caitlin Teagart have decided to end her life, saying she can now do nothing but lay on the couch and whine about things being "gay."

Oh Onion..you and your witty twists of the truth. I gotta say, I did snort with laughter a couple times while watching this story. "I want parents out there to go home and hug their kids...and be thankful they don't have such a piss poor attitude" .

There are some pictures floating around imgur of people posting this link to their facebook, and other people responding unaware that it is satire. It's all pretty excellent.

yeah..I had "The Onion" in the title at first...but Drak pointed out that it lost some of the funny that way..so took it out. I posted it on my facebook and have noticed two comments had been posted and deleted...I assume they realized a bit late that it was satire.
