The Steam group “A Call for Communication,” established to ask Valve for some update, any update, on Half-Life 3, is staging a protest of sorts this weekend to draw attention to their cause.
Members of the 29,000-strong group will simultaneously play Half-Life 2 on Steam for 30 minutes this Saturday in hopes of getting Valve’s attention and convincing the company to let the world know how (or if) the next Half-Life game is progressing.
Despite ramping up its activity, the group is sticking to the message that it’s “in no way, shape or form attempting to rush the development of the Half-Life series; in fact, most members agree that Valve should take the time needed to deliver a complete and polished product.”
