Thread: Kids cant answer basic questions

No child left behind. I remember in my math classes in high school there were kids who couldn't tell the difference between 2³ or 2x3.

eh..not all of them did poorly. I giggled at "Canada! oh yeah..that's a state" but yeah....wanted to smother some of them.

Still they were basic questions that everyone should know. They should ask these questions on loan and credit card applications and I think the US world would be a much better place.

I teach college calculus classes and some of my students don't know that!!!
