I had a super awesome well built yu-gi-oh deck.. dunno what happened to those..
Never got into pokemon cards though.
So, I was huge Pokemon collector years and years ago. What happened to them? I dunno. They vanished. I am figuring my mom sold them at some point. Anyway, went out and bought a few packs.
First pack, got a reverse holo Landorus and a holographic Zekrom. Pretty damn happy I gotta say. Gonna be getting a couple packs each week, buying them online because Meijer sells them for $4.19 a piece, $#@! that. I can get it online for half that or so.

I got into yugioh too. But at this point, I have no idea what comes in those. With Pokemon, at least I am some what aware of what $#@! is worth. Should be fun.

I got a Charizard from a booster pack. Needless to say kids at school didn't wanna play with me anymore. Only a Chancey could survive the wrath of Charizard with double colorless equipped.
BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK: VVVVVV? More like ZZZZZZ.
Yeah, I miss my old Charizard. =(
But, I can buy one from this site for like $40. I'm...tempted. >_> But I'll stick to getting packs for now. Amazon does 3 packs for $7.90 which is amazing compared to Meijer.

Say I used to collect and my parents still have mine...and that includes a foil charizard...how much could i legitimately sell that for?
Bought a few packs on Amazon, but whatever place ships them, they take ages. So, once I get those packs in the mail within the next damn month, I'll get buy only on Newegg. I get it cheaper there and fast shipping.
Didn't want to wait long, so I went out and bought a few more packs. I was curious if my nice pulls were luck or not. Turns out they were. Best I got was a reverse holo Cobalion. My text randomly turned blacker, cool. So, I'll be waiting on my next packs to come on. Although, I might get a few more when I get paid this Friday. Annoyingly, I want just the Black and White packs, none of this Emerging Powers or Noble Victories. I've gotten a couple packs of all of them, so my binder is confusing. Many cards are trying to take the spots of others. It isn't pretty.

I collected them way back too but I lost interest like during the fossil days (I didn't guess pokemon would keep coming and coming). Nowadays theres like a total of 20 or so sets. I got into them again back in 06 for a few months because there wasn't much else to do where I was at so a friend and I would keep battling each other. Ive picked up some cards here and there but not much since then. And if I remember correctly, Amazon sold them in 5 packs for around $10 or so back then

Nobody plays Pokemon in the card shop near me. Is it still popular near you? The thing I moved on to is Magic. To me it's like an adult version of Pokemon. And the cool thing is you can win tournaments with a cheap deck. My friend made a storm deck for like $30 and it whooped ass.
Still popular near me? Not with anyone MY age. =P Not sure if anyone in my town is into at all. If it isn't yugioh, it's Magic. A good friend of mine is still into Magic. He probably has 40 thousand cards, at least.
Coming back to Pokemon, I don't care for decks and playing the actual cards. I'm just glad to be back to collecting. Very few things as exciting as opening a pack and finding a nice rare in there. =P My only issue now is that I want to get the Black and White packs, but I gotta get them online.
