Ok, I can't say "maybe" to this anymore.

The graphics and parts of the gameplay remind me a lot of L4D2. It's a lot nicer to look at from what I've seen of CSS as well.

I might have to get interested in Counterstrike again.

Seriously thought that bomb was going to obliterate that guy to smithereens in that second gameplay video.

I am a little confused by this. 8 new weapons woo and 7 maps that came with the original game with a few modifications that wouldn't take much time to begin with to edit.. tf2 gets new weapons on a weekly basis. It isn't an entirely new engine, frankly it looks like redone textures to higher resolution. alot of the old sounds are still there that haven't been redone. I do like the new UI for buying stuff and the high resolution textures make it look a bit more realistic, but without adding some new gamemode, or some new maps I probably wouldn't pay more than $10-15 for this.

Well since it has said to come out on PSN and Xbox Live as well, I bet that is what the cost will have to be. I just don't see how Valve could make it anymore than that.

Considering the current trend with games though... What are the changes that Valve makes this one F2P as well and then charges for hats/items/etc using the same item store setup as TF2 has.

yea if this game goes F2P then I could totally understand this and it would be worth it, but it definately isn't worth a $49.99 or $59.99 price tag
