That brings up another good point -> Retail... If you know someone who can get stuff as a distributor/has their own PC business, now's the time to get friendly with them...

I had one hell of a fight trying to get my current laptop (MSI) because I didn't want vista at the time, and this was when that was all you could get.

Got it thru a friend of mine, and didn't pay the windows tax. It's a machine that you can't easily find anywhere in retail.

So, like I said, see if you can get yourself someone... (as in, "I know _someone_")...

btw, I told my bro to buy the same one, his old laptop died. its been working fine so far, and runs tf2 on lower/medium specs at 70-80 fps
