That screenshot def looks like it could be overheating or corrupt drivers. Might need to clean out the dust, or stop overclocking it (if you are).

Also, I'd recommend a couple things.

    1. Complete uninstall of Graphics drivers. Go into device manager, right click your graphics card, uninstall (and select uninstall drivers), restart, then use "clean install" when installing the latest drivers from ATI's website.

    2. Take the GPU out of your computer, and if your CPU can run TF2 at all (even on the lowest resolution and lowest graphics), run TF2 for a while, see if it crashes.
Or even better, borrow a friends GPU for a little while or use an old card just to see if your current card is overheating or dying.

EDIT: 58C isn't that bad, but wouldn't hurt to clean it out anyway.

It is clean, I use dust filters, plus I cleaned it last week.

    No O/C.

    Tried reinstalling.

Maybe I am misreading, but you want me to take the GPU out of the pc, and then try to run TF2...? I won't be able to see anything.... lol.

No one to borrow from. Everyone around here is too cheap to own a computer that even has a dual core.

Comparing anything to Naruto and Bleach makes the statement pretty meaningless. It's like saying "yeah man this cake tastes way better than vomit".

    So, update.

I can have 2 sticks of RAM in the computer, with no crash. I doesn't matter which sticks, or which slots, once I put 4 in, the computer can't handle games.

I am going to try 3 today, and see how the computer handles it. Meanwhile does anyone have a suggestion to fix this?

Can anyone confirm if matched pairs need to be in different slots.

    Example;
Matched pair #1, need to be in the blue slots 1 and 3.
Matched pair #2, need to be in the white slots 2 and 4.

I have just done this, and borderlands has not crashed for nearly an hour...............

I mean, I was thinking this might have been an issue for months, but I have never had to do this before, they just... worked.

What's with this new fangled ram and timings and $#@!. I DEMAND MY DDR1 BACK.

Yes, the matched pairs need to be in different slots. It's been this way for quite a while recently. That is actually the whole reason behind the color coding. :/

    I have never had a computer with DDR2, I went from DDR1 to DDR3.

    True story.

Ok, it made it a LOT more stable, but I am still crashing after a period of time. I can almost get through an entire game of Moxxis Underdome in, rather than while in the "lobby".

I actually managed to play TF2 for like 2 hours too.... WUT DO?

Well, if your NB is really at 80C, then you have some serious issues. If it is still the same crash screen, its your GFX card. I know that screen error look. Its what I get when I screw up the signal to the monitor, so its happening with the card. If you were to get a new card, try the Radeon 6670. It is a workhorse. And $99 at Newegg.
