    Minecraft Sound Issue

I tried seeing if this was already answered or at least talked about in another thread, but I couldn't find it while trying to search.

When playing minecraft, no music whatsoever or any sound can be heard. Did the sound break in one of the latest updates of minecraft (is it a known issue?) or what? How can I fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

I haven't had any issues with sound at all since the patch so it's something with your system.

So both volume sliders are all the way up and the minecraft volume in your PCs mixer is set to max? Windows 7?

We need more info to help you.

Actually, that helped me out a ton, Mak.

I don't know how it happened, but it was turned down all the way in the PC Mixer. (I didn't touch it, I swearzies) :| Thanks!

In case you still wanted to know, I have Windows 7 with Java 32 bit.

Yeah, Windows 7 has this fun bug where it'll sometimes turn something all the way down in the Mixer for no reason what so ever. Glad it was an easy fix

Windows 7 likes to lower the volume of some programs for no reason, especially when you use a voice chat program (Vent, TS ,etc) in conjunction with other programs. I know exactly how to fix it, I'll be posting a guide shortly.
