Figured that was the spot. Yeah it is. Have heard a few demos get warned about spamming pills onto grassy knoll snipers from where the ball landed.
So i was basically messin around on doublecross when i decided to start hittin around the ballas scout, long story shot one of my hits was this,
ball.dem
i wanted to know if it was an exploit or not
well i dont mean stuff coming out i mean throwing a ball like i did and hitting someone.
What I meant by "vice-versa", is that demomen can stand in roughly the same spot and throw stickies into the enemy intel room.
See here: battleship.dem
Hope that works.
cant get demo to work but yeah i know what your talkin about
Doesn't the question boils down to, as it does with every map exploit, whether there is a glitch involved? Doesn't an exploit inherently require a glitch to maniuplate? Is it an accidental break in the skybox?
I don't know the answer in this particular instance, as I could see it going either way.
On one hand, if the designers didn't want you throwing things through that giant, gaping hole, they would have thrown up a skybox.
On the other hand, there's clearly a wall preventing players from jumping through that area, so maybe players should take a hint.
In short, Valve, please fix the skybox one way or another.
