He also made World's Greatest Dad, a dark comedy about how we deal with loss and all that. Really, really worth a look; it says a lot about our culture lol. Plus Robin Williams, so everyone wins

I wasn't sure if it was serious...but Zirkus is right. This is the greatest idea for a movie. 5 stars instantly. Going to go freeze myself to wait for this movie.

I have an extremely dark sense of humor, and even I think this might be a bit over the top.
Love the premise, just have a feeling it's going to be executed poorly, the backlash will be handled poorly, and people will suddenly try to justify both the escapism and eugenics (and I use the latter loosely).

Looking at it I would agree, but the fact that Bobcat actually does a good job directing gives me hope (lolwtf Bobcat Goldthwait). Seriously, he handled something as crazy as World's Greatest Dad very tactfully and made his point shine through when it would have been extremely easy to screw that entire movie up.
I have faith he will do the same here. Crazy insane violence, yet a poignant commentary on today's societal values.
